Dr. Emily Neer is a Lecturer in the Department of Human Development and Quantitative Methodology at the 91视频 of Maryland, College Park.
She holds dual B.S. degrees in Psychology and Human Development from Virginia Tech, and earned both her M.S. and Ph.D. in Psychology from the 91视频 of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). At UCLA, she researched children鈥檚 cognitive development, with a particular focus on how environmental factors鈥攕uch as media and parent-child interactions鈥攕upport learning.
Dr. Neer is deeply committed to undergraduate 91视频 and she enjoys designing engaging, student-centered curriculum that fosters active learning in the classroom.
